Are cast stone planters better than concrete, fibreglass or terracotta planters?
For large outdoor planters, yes. Artemis HP-FRCS cast stone planters are fibre-reinforced, so they are lighter and more crack-resistant than plain concrete, far more UV- and weather-stable than fibreglass, and do not flake or fade like painted terracotta. Colour runs through the full thickness, and sizes go up to 72 inches (182 cm) for hotels, villas and landscape projects.
Is cast stone furniture suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Artemis cast stone furniture — benches, seating, coffee and dining tables, basins and lighting — is designed for gardens, terraces, poolsides and public spaces. HP-FRCS has 5–7% water absorption, is UV-stable and frost-resistant, and is sealed at the factory. It feels like natural stone furniture but is lighter and made to order in 15 colours.
What is cast stone facade cladding and how does it compare with natural stone?
Cast stone facade cladding is a factory-made panel that looks like cut natural stone. Artemis HP-FRCS facade panels and jali screens are thinner and lighter than natural stone cladding, consistent in colour from panel to panel, available in any RAL shade with Guard Sealer, and supplied with fixing systems. Minimum order is 1,500 sqft.
Where is Artemis Cast Stone based?
Artemis Cast Stone has its design studio in Satellite, Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India) and its casting workshop in Khatraj, Gandhinagar. Every piece is mixed, cast, cured and quality-checked at the Khatraj workshop before dispatch across India and for export.
Is HP-FRCS cast stone a sustainable material?
Yes. Every Artemis piece contains up to 30% upcycled quarry stone dust — a by-product of stone extraction that would otherwise go to waste. Pieces are internally pigmented, so they never need repainting, and are built for a 15–20 year service life, reducing replacement.
What colours and finishes are available?
There are 15 standard internally pigmented colours in Smooth and Leather finishes, plus special surface textures, terrazzo and inlay options for furniture and basins. Facades can be specified in any RAL shade with Guard Sealer. A physical sample box is available for ₹1,500.
What is HP-FRCS and how is it different from regular cast stone or concrete?
HP-FRCS (High Performance Fibre Reinforced Cast Stone) uses glass-fibre reinforcement and up to 30% recycled quarry stone dust instead of steel rebar and virgin aggregate. It is lighter, more crack-resistant, and casts to finer detail than standard concrete or cast stone.
How long do Artemis cast stone products last outdoors and indoors?
Outdoors, HP-FRCS pieces carry a 15–20 year service life across Indian climates, including monsoon exposure. Indoors, with no UV or moisture load, they last significantly longer with no measurable wear.
Can I order custom sizes, finishes, or bespoke designs?
Yes. Every product can be recast to custom dimensions, and we offer Smooth, Leather and specialty finishes like Terrazzo and Crazy Paving. Send your brief or reference image and our studio will scope it directly.
What is the minimum order quantity for B2B, government, or export orders?
Standard planters and furniture have no fixed MOQ for single pieces. Facade and cladding orders require a minimum of 1,500 sq.ft per colour, and Guard Sealer RAL-matched finishes require 2,000 sq.ft per colour.
What is the production and delivery lead time?
Standard products ship in 3 weeks plus a 15% contingency buffer for casting and curing. Bulk, custom, or facade orders take longer depending on quantity — confirmed at the time of quote.
Do you ship internationally to the UAE, Europe, or the US?
Yes, we export globally including to the UAE, Europe and the US. Freight, crating and duty documentation are arranged per shipment — share your destination and quantity for an accurate landed cost.
How do I maintain and clean Artemis cast stone products?
Routine maintenance is a wipe-down with water; no sealants are required for standard use. Facade Guard Sealer finishes carry a 10-year water protection and 20-year colour warranty when factory-applied.
How do I install and care for my cast stone pieces?
Planters need a layered drainage base — brick bats, aggregate and sand beneath the soil — and should sit on a firm, level surface.
